Our Calling
at Eastside Church:
WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE BELIEVE
FOR ALL TO BELONG
WE ARE A COMMUNITY
GROWING TO LOVE JESUS AND TO LIVE MORE LIKE HIM
WHILE PARTNERING IN GOD'S REDEMPTIVE STORY FOR ALL PEOPLE
OUR VALUES
ALL,
NOT SOME
We contend to be a community of all ages, races, ethnicities, and abilities.
GENEROUS,
NOT GREEDY
We give freely, trusting that God supplies what we need.
RELATIONAL,
NOT ROGUE
We are better together. This is why we gather every Sunday and throughout the week in smaller groups.
CONTRIBUTORS,
NOT CONSUMERS
We actively care for our local community, our world, and one another.
SCRIPTURAL, NOT SELF-ORIENTED
We filter all aspects of our lives through scripture.
FORMING,
NOT FINISHED
We are continuously growing, learning, and changing to become more like Jesus.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the person of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe the Bible is whole, complete, without fault, and is relevant to speak to the issues of today.
People
The church isn’t a building. It's people who are equipped to serve and meet needs everywhere in the name of Jesus. The church is God’s people doing the work of Jesus out in the world. (1 John 4:17)
Jesus
God’s intended purpose for us is to live a fulfilled life in relationship with Him. Because of sin, our relationship with God was broken. Jesus, who is the Son of God, willingly died on the cross for the payment of our sin. Faith in Jesus restores our relationship with God. (John 3:16)

Eastside Church is associated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, which is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The word foursquare represents the four-fold ministry of Jesus as seen in the Gospels: Jesus Christ is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon-Coming King. The Foursquare Church has a rich history of being inter-denominational, Spirit-led, and focused on evangelism and caring for those in need.
